Explore Robotics

Explore the exciting world of robotics with FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Explore!

In this fun and collaborative class, students will work in small teams to master the fundamentals of the engineering design process: Explore, Create, Test, and Share. With the help of LEGO elements and the LEGO Education SPIKE Essential robotics kit, students will use their design and coding skills to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems they identify.

This season’s PLAYMAKERS theme invites children to explore how people get moving and stay active in their communities. Using LEGO® technology, students will design and build models that reimagine spaces for play and movement. As they build and program their creations, they’ll strengthen their STEM skills, creativity, and teamwork—while discovering the fun of helping others lead healthier, more active lives.

At the end of the session, teams will present their projects at our Celebration Event, where they will have the opportunity to showcase their hard work and innovative ideas to their families.

  • Class Offerings:
    • Monday 4:30 – 5:45
    • Tuesday 5:15 – 6:30
    • Thursday 4:30 – 5:45
    • Friday 11:00-12:15
  • Registration Fee:  $75
  • Session Tuition (Upon registration, you will have the option to pay in full or divide into monthly payments): 
    • $375 for Monday  classes (one fewer class due to MLK Jr. Holiday)
    • $400 for Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday classes
  • Important Notes:
    • Classes begin the week of January 20
    • Celebration Event: Saturday, May 9
    • Classes end the week of May 11
    • Each class requires a minimum of 6 students to proceed. In the event of fewer than 6 enrollments, you will have the option to switch to another class or receive a full refund of any fees paid.
